TOP EDUCATION RENOVATION – PLAINEDGE FITNESS CENTER

The Plainedge Fitness Center was completed in the spring of 2024. The project was developed as part of a multi-year capital improvement plan using Capital Reserve Funds at no additional cost to taxpayers to upgrade and modernize the wellness & athletic facilities. The new two-level athletic center is more than 12,000 square feet and includes a new weight training room, cardio training space, a yoga/ dance/aerobic studio, wrestling/ group fitness room, and a fitness corridor for upper body strength and virtual training.

Fiona Kika, assistant project manager at Mark Design Studios has been recognized as a rising star in architecture. Fiona has an incredible work ethic and she’s an effective team player whose skillset helps bring visions to life.
